Sage, market leaders in providing web-enabled financial, distribution and manufacturing software to mid-range businesses, has secured a contract with De La Rue Holographics, the high security hologram division of De La Rue International Ltd, the world's largest commercial security printer and paper maker.
Sage will supply De La Rue Holographics with Sage Line 500, a totally web-enabled financial, distribution and manufacturing solution, which provides advanced functionality, scalability and international coverage.
Based on the Windows NT/Windows 2000 platform, Sage Line 500 also offers a range of options that can be configured for any mid-range or larger organisation.
Sage reseller TAH supplied De La Rue Holographics with Sage Line 500. Sage Line 500 was selected to help De La Rue to reduce the cost of the administration involved in managing the business as the volume of work grows. In particular efficiency will be increased in phase two of the project, in the area of production scheduling in the factory. This will be achieved by the implementation of finite capacity planning tools integrated with the shop floor data collection system.
Andy Gass, Sage Solutions general manager said: “I am delighted to secure such a prestigious contract. Sage Line 500 is a very comprehensive product which is perfect for a company like De La Rue Holographics. This contract has also opened up further opportunities for us within the company as it is part of De La Rue, the well-know bank note printing group.”
