SAGE INTRODUCES CORPORATE LICENCE POLICY TO REDUCE IT COSTS FOR BUSINESSES

Sage has introduced a corporate licence policy to significantly reduce the cost per seat for larger Sage users. The policy has been designed to give businesses greater flexibility in the use of Sage software within their IT systems, by allowing users to move product to wherever their business needs it.

The key elements to the policy are:

  • Flexibility for multiple users.
  • Flexibility for multiple sites.
  • Flexibility for multiple countries.
  • Flexibility for multiple companies.
  • Flexibility for multiple databases.

Gavin May, Sage sales director, said: “The policy will make it easier for companies to do business with Sage because they can install any of the core financial, distribution, manufacturing and service modules on any server and/or PC client within their organisation. Furthermore, these modules are available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, all of which are included as a standard part of the corporate licence.”

Businesses are also entitled to use Sage software on any of the supported databases of their choice and can move from one database to another free of any charges from Sage.

Gavin continued: “We are confident that the policy will reduce IT costs for businesses within a short period of time and we’d like to demonstrate how this can be achieved. In today’s economic uncertainty, businesses need to invest in their IT systems if they want to survive, and our policy makes this a more viable and cost effective solution.”
