The link
with Preactor gives the user a powerful scheduling tool that is both
visual and fast in its response. Works Orders and MRP recommendations,
including both Components and Routes can be unloaded to Preactor where
their Static Material Control will relink Works Orders to peg them
and then schedule according to an infinite variety of rules.
Results are then passed back to Line 500
where the Schedule Details and Expected Finish Date are updated. This
latter may be used by MRP to ‘buy’ against the definitive Preactor
schedule.
