employees, while providing you with the opportunity to receive products and services which
enhance your e-business activities. This policy ("Privacy Policy") describes
the ways in which we collect information from you when you use the Service, and what we

What data do we collect from you? |

We collect data from you ("User Data") in various ways:
- when you register to use the sage.com Service;
- during the course of your use of Sage Services, and those of third parties available
through the Service, and
- when we request further information from you from time to time following on from
registration.
Much of this data comprises business information. Some of it may comprise personal data
about individuals, to which UK data protection laws apply. This Privacy Policy describes
Sage's approach to fulfilling its obligations under those data protection laws. |

Our use of User Data |

We will use User Data we collect from you only in accordance with the following
guidelines:
- To provide the sage.com service to you
We will use User Data to provide and
improve our e-business Service to you, to enable our help desk to deal with any queries you
have about our Service, to notify you of any changes to our Service or our General User
Conditions, and to process payments.
- To send you information about our other products & services
From time to
time, Sage Software Limited, or third parties acting on Sage's behalf, may wish to send you
information about other products and services which we offer and we believe you may be
interested in and we may use User Data for this purpose. If you decide now, or at any later
time, that you do not wish to receive this information, please inform us by e-mail at
online@sage.com.
- To generate statistics
Sage.com may provide aggregated statistics about our
Users, sales patterns and related usage information, to reputable third parties, but these
statistics will not enable any such third party to identify individuals or individual
businesses.
- To provide data to third party providers
Sage may pass User Data to third
party providers of products and services through the Service to enable them to provide them to
you, and (where relevant) to facilitate billing. Sage does not as such authorise such third
parties to use your User Data to market its own products or services, but you may have given
such consent as part of your direct relationship with the third party in question.
- To the Sage group of companies
Sage Software Limited may make User Data
available to other members of the Sage group of companies, either for the fulfilment of
Sage.com services, or to enable them to provide you with information about products or
services which they believe would be of interest to you.

Legal Requirements |

While it is unlikely, Sage may be required to disclose your User Data by a court order
or to comply with other legal requirements. We will use all reasonable endeavours to
notify you before we do so, unless we are legally restricted from doing so. |

Sage shall not sell, rent, distribute or otherwise make User Data commercially
available to any third party, except as described above, or except with your prior

By using the sage.com Services you acknowledge that you have read the terms of this
Privacy Policy and that you agree to use User Data for the purposes set out above. This
Privacy Policy may be amended by Sage at any time. Sage Software Limited will notify you
